Outdoor FAQ

How do I get started?

We recommend that you come in to the studio for a consultation before your first class. If you are a visitor or a guest, and are unable to come in, we just ask that you bring a filled out registration form and liability waiver, along with your $15 drop-in fee, to class. Gainesville residents receive the first class for FREE.

What should I bring?

Please bring a towel, yoga mat, and bottle of water. You should wear workout clothes, sneakers, and sunscreen as needed.

Are these classes for everybody?

Our outdoor fitness classes are for beginners, intermediates, and advanced exercisers. We adjust the exercises and the intensity level according to your fitness ability.

What can I expect?

We incorporate the fundamental basics of exercise into each class - push-ups, squats, crunches, jumping jacks, etc. - so that you learn proper exercise form and progression. Each class is unique so you never get bored. Expect to burn calories, tone muscles, have fun, and leave tired!

Do I have to be a personal training client to attend?

No, you do not have to be a personal training client of Sweat Life Fitness to attend the Outdoor Classes.
